I write this sitting in a comfortable chair, in a quiet, safe climate-controlled room. My extended family just left after an afternoon of good food and birthday cake, as we celebrated our son's third birthday. I'm thankful to God for all the blessings He provides, and thankful for the men and women who preserve one of the most precious gifts - the freedom to gather with friends and loved ones, to fall asleep without wondering if we'll have to use the gas masks tonight, to speak out when we don't agree with the government.

Thank you to everyone who has given up the comforts of modern America to stand up for its founding values. May God bless all of you.
