i thought i read weis got himself the extra years + more money, rather than ND giving him that contract...cause i thought initially they were gonna give him a 5 yr contract, but he said he could get more money in the nfl, so they opted to give him more money on a longer contract.

^^its pretty idiotic to think that any freshman class can make that much of an impact in college football, he is going to have to turn this one around with players currently on the roster, with slight help from the frosh class....if i am not mistaken, he has had 3 top 10 recruiting classes in a row, its on the coach now, can't look at incoming players to turn this thing around!
