and the show is a build up for this battle at the end between the founders of krumping and some of the top bboy's. so the battle starts, and the krumping is lame as shit, though there was a little bit of creative stuff that was entertaining. the bboys go and their shit is off the charts. however whenever the bboys go i notice a bit of crowd yelling and stuff. then when the krumpers go i hear massive screams and cheering and clapping. yet when i look at the crowd, everyone is just standing there 1st off, 2nd of all there isnt' even a huge crowd, it's like this is a private battle or something. so basically they are playing a recorded crowd to make it sound like the krumpers are winning. this is so fucking lame

google krumpinggoogle bboyingkrumping is supposedly the new underground dance, but it's the lamest thing i've ever seen, it's just throwing your limbs around violently. there are a few instances where it's creative, but it's few and far between

I think Krumping is something new so people that are into new stuff will latch on to it. To a kid today, b-boying is their older brother's 'thing', or maybe even (gasp) their parents 'thing'. They want something that is their own. B-boying has matured and people are still innovating, I don't think Krumping will stick around a mature like that, just not enough substance. Same with the music. My 10yo nephew came to stay with us this summer and downloaded a bunch of stuff off of Rhapsody. I couldn't believe what was passing for popular music these days. It seems more about selling an image than actual music quality. But I can't really say much. My older brothers grew up in the 70's and like classic rock - I can appreciate it but I can't stand it. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and like hip hop and electronic music - they can't appreciate it or stand it. Anything with a dance beat is considered 'Disco' heh. Krumping is annoying but I like it better than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyAvaLsLFl8-- Dave
