Man, this slow cooker thing might be the best $18 purchase ever. I did chili last week, which was fantastic but nothing new since I always make kickass chili. Today I threw a corned beef brisket in there with some potatoes and onions. 9 hours later=deliciousness.

I don't like cabbage when it's boiled or steamed. Tastes all rubbery and gross, that's why I skipped it. I realize it's tradition, but...
