sorry for the title...that cat walked across the keyboard

My roommate has about an 11 week old female kitten and I just got a 7 week old male one...how long till they start tryin to do it?? I know they cant get spayed/neutered till a certain age

the girl ought to start howling in about 3 months or she could wait until his hormones trigger her cycle and it will be 4 months. Or, her hormones could trigger him and it will be 3 months again... It all depends on the cat really. Some reach sexual maturity earlier, and some later.
