I'm in sort of an interesting situation, I have three hours of free electives required to graduate in the spring, so I can basically pick any course I want.

Requirements:
interesting
not a terrible amount of work (this is a judgment call on the interest I have in the class...a five page paper on something awesome is less work than a paragraph about poultry science if you know what I mean...no offense to poultry science)
decent hour (between 10am and 4pm)

My degree is in biology, so all those courses are out.

I'm thinking
a 200 level history - interesting stuff, lots of writing though
ns 330 - evolution of warfare - sounds really awesome but obviously very few girls
ant 251 - anthropology might be fun
3 pe's - really easy, might get boring though
400 level human anatomy - lots more work but might be helpful for med school

Comments?

Basically the question is...if you could take any course you wanted what would it be?

if you're going to take ANT 251, take Dr. Case, because he's one of the best Anthro professors. otherwise, i wouldn't take 251. i'd recommend ANT 253, because it's an interesting course and Dr. Fitzpatrick is awesome. i always wanted to take ANT 310, Native North American Cultures, but now that it's finally offered it won't fit in my schedule. plus Dr. Jacka is pretty hilarious.

I like ANT 252, 254 and any of the Communication classes that you can get into. Neat stuff, relevant and useful too. I think history on a subject of your interest would be good too. 300 levels go into more detail on a specific subject and do not have a great deal more writing than the 200 levels.
