What are yours?

I'm making a Christmas dinner this year for the first time in years, and I'm excited. I wish it weren't a month and a half away ... but Thanksgiving is coming soon too

Stuffing is the best food ever. Cornbread >>>>>> any other kind, though.

mmmm yummy. there should be a restaurant that serves nothing but thanksgiving food year round. they'd call it, "WE KEEP ON GIVING," and i'd go there every day.

Time Out in chapel hill claims to be thanksgiving every day, but I don't normally associate bbq and chicken biscuits with thanksgiving.

there's a sandwich shop up here that serves "the big mama"

it's thanksgiving dinner rolled up into a monster biscuit ball, and served hot. somehow, all the innards are baked intot he biscuit

turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, and even cranberry sauce.

(homer gargle drool)

same for apple pie and ice cream (holidays are the only time I really ever eat dessert)

cheese ball and country ham, but NEVER the cheese ball you buy, nor one with nuts or a weird color, nevermind, no one will ever experience the amazing home made cheese balls that i'm talking about

The usual at home:
-Cheese & Crackers before dinner
-Turkey
-Stuffing
-Gravy
-Sweet Potatoes
-Corn
-Rolls
-Green Bean Casserole (sometimes)
-Broccoli Casserole*
-Olives (green & black)
-Nuts & Oranges immediately after dinner
-Pie, later on, Pumpkin & Cherry or Apple

*The broccoli casserole of which I speak is especially good. Combine chopped cooked broccoli, Italian breadcrumbs, olive oil, & parmesan cheese, & bake together. Mmmmmmmm....best way ever to prepare broccoli....
