okay, sort of an odd request: i've got an IBM eServer x345 at my house (one of those nice 2U ones). i've got a slimline (laptop style) cdrom drive for it. problem: i'm trying to install debian, i can't get it to boot from my thumbdrive, so i need to use the cdrom. the box only has a desktop ide and mini 4-pin molex power connector, though. the slimline cdrom has that slim ATAPI connector on it. i'm thinking the box originally came with some sort of adapter board. something like this: http://www.directron.com/cddvdadapter.html if anyone just HAPPENS to have an extra one of these laying around somewhere, i'd love to buy it from you. thanks in advance!

can you not use a regular one for the install and then just go without? rarely do you need an optical drive beyond installing an OS these days

to do that i'd need a mini 4pin molex to regular drive size molex adapterthere are no regular 4 pin drive molex power connectors anywhere in there
