so apparently to help some duck populations from exploding there are people that scramble the yokes and put the eggs back in the nest

yeah, I've heard if you break the eggs, the mother just lays new ones

but if you just shake 'em up, she gets so depressed when they don't hatch that she never returns

that's cold though
