Do to recent problems on the site, including the collapse of the Photo Gallery and the rise of pop-up advertisements, there have been some calling for me to initiate the first phases of the Revolution.

However, in spite of my general appreciation for launching revolutions, I am going to continue to call for restraint.

There have been problems, yes, but at the moment we are at least receiving consistent, regular assurances from the powers-that-be that these problems are unintentional and in the process of being fixed. So far, the timeframe -- especially given the holiday -- has not been sufficiently long to convince me that these assurances are a pack of lies.

So, comrades, be calm, but vigilant. If the situation deteriorates the call to action will be made.
