that is the point of the #5 spot... it is reserved for the good team that had a horrible loss... UVa was undefeated in the ACC and on their way to playing for a title if they could beat VT... now that road gets a lot tougher

so yeah, losing to a team that had wins against ECU and a I-AA team and thus making your bid for an ACC Championship birth means you lost a big one and thus are in the bottom 10 for that week
