I think the spell checker is stuck on Australian English, I get "color" and "neighbor" and "behavior" flagged and it tells me to put a u in there. this is aggravating and telling it to use english (US) doesnt seem to fix it.perhaps its the MAE lab template...any help?

Seems like the "Detect language automatically" checkbox in the "Set language" menu is what is changing it. Double check that your timezone is set correctly on your PC clock.

are you talking about the set language menu in Office Tools > Office 2007 Language Settings ? (its own program) or some other menu within Word?I checked that one and the only language enabled for editing is US English. I've checked the language settings in the control panel. It does not happen in new documents - only those created from lab report "template" file, which is a regular word 2003 file with some creative formatting.so it's document-related, at least.[Edited on October 30, 2007 at 11:07 PM.
