during the giants/skins game earlier this season, the giants ran out of bounds down by the end zone toward the end of the game, and the ball carrier and his tackler ran right up into a bunch of cheerleaders and they all scattered screaming and one of them got knocked the eff down pretty hard

dont know if it was on camera or not but i saw it at the game

its common practice for them to put a tear in the middle of the top and bottom of the banner so it tears more evenly and splits in the middle.

I've never actually seen it work, but yeah thats probably why.
