Amtrak FTW in this case. Take a taxi to the Amtrak station, Amtrak to Raleigh, CAT bus back to campus on the cheap or another taxi if you're feeling rich. The Amtrak fare would prolly be less than $15.

And just so ya know the Amtrak station is on the eastern side of downtown burlington and very small. Seriously its like an hour from there to raleigh, none of your friends is willing to do this, for a (iirc) a hot girl?
