. . .Meet the Press. I think even Tim Russert gets tired of some Democrats' double-talk now and then. http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&brand=msnbc&tab=m5&rf=http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032608/&fg=&from=00&vid=e10461f7-89e1-415c-aa58-80d1b6f8066e Hilarious!

Want to see shredded? The Bill Richardson episode was much, much better.
10/29/2007 8:43:12 AM
he bores me too much to even watch. And what's that shit below his chin? Another chin?
10/29/2007 10:59:28 AM
^ Yeah, that's where he talks out the side of his neck.
10/29/2007 11:00:57 AM
^^^ How bad did Richardson do?
10/29/2007 3:12:45 PM
Look--seriously--if you haven't watched this, watch all of it. Russert tore Dodd a new asshole--he made him look like the biggest liar/flip-flopper that ever came down the pike.
10/29/2007 3:44:24 PM
I'm watching it, 9 minutes in, no shredding to be found yet.]
10/29/2007 3:55:34 PM

i cant watch it at work, so it'll have to wait til i get home.but i'm really surprised at you people for busting on news journalist for being fat.oh wait. Rush Limbaugh isn't a journalist. He's an "entertainer"
10/29/2007 6:39:06 PM
I didn't watch the whole thing, but the parts I did see were pretty muchDodd: "I believe in xyz."Russert: "But you said on such-and-such a date that you beleived in abc."Dodd: "I changed my mind because of the letters mno and p."It's about what you'd expect from a position-oriented interview with someone who's been in Congress for longer than most of us have been alive. On the plus side, he is for decriminalizing marijuana.

Russert for his part is pulling no punches, all good tough questions you'd expect from the best critics. Dodd's fielded them pretty well though. He was tap dancing quite on some of them of course. Overall a solid interview on both sides. So no, he didn't get shredded. He got called out, but he didn't get shredded. I think anyone who objectively watched this video would say the same.Side note - I gained a great deal of respect for Dodd when I watched his debate on Meet the Press with Newt Gingrich. Talk about polar political/ideological opposites on that issue. Still, after the interview the two of them shook hands and even had a laugh at each other's expense. They went on to promote the idea of a series of lectures and discussions regarding Iraq and future policy based on it.[Edited on October 29, 2007 at 9:43 PM. Reason : f]

^ This thread has nothing to do with Limbaugh--I happen to watch Meet the Press regularly, among many other such programs, Boone-Tard. STFU.

10/30/2007 10:30:54 PM
exactly, sorry just had to heh

Dodd was a co-sponsor of S. 970, which among other things declares the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization. But--oops!--now he doesn't support it. . .I think (see video above).
