10/28/2007 10:10:42 PM

10/28/2007 10:21:13 PM

As much as I would like to see him in the Red Sox uniform.... I would rather see him in Chicago playing for the Cubs

this matters more to me than the sox winning the series.and im not a yankees fan

I haven't heard or watched it yet, but apparently Peter Gammons was pissed off at the timing and said so on ESPN, which I agree with him.I'll throw my hat in the ring and say he will go to the Dodgers, break a bunch of individual records but never come close to winning a World Series. It will be fitting when the God of Sabermatrics will have never won anything when he retires.[Edited on October 29, 2007 at 7:45 AM. Reason : .]

The Cubs will get ARod and The Bulls will get Kobe...But the Bears will still be lacking any sort of star power. So 2/3 for the City of Chicago ain't bad.

As a Cubs fan I realize that A Rod is a good player and all, but seriously NO sports star is worth that kind of money and if they are gonna pay him as much or more than what the yankees offered then I will be very disappointed. Take that same money and pickup three players who will make up a better team overall.

I agree, it's not so much that A-Rod is not a great player, he is, it's just I'd rather take that money to buy 2 great players or 3 good players instead of 1 awesome player.
10/29/2007 9:04:03 AM
so where does he play at??? Short-stop where he was the best player in the mlb at that position, or will his new team make stick him at third??
10/29/2007 12:08:52 PM
if the Cubs got A-Rod they would probably trade Ramirez for another big name playing a different position right? Seems that would make the most sense. I'd love for the Cubbies to pick up A-Rod.

Fucking hell

If you don't like A-Rod, you have to read this Lupica article. Lupica brings it. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2007/10/30/2007-10-30_bid_farewell_to_arod_the_goldplated_phon.html

Don't hate the playa, hate the game!

so stupid ... honestly he even admits the yankees wouldnt have made the playoffs without a-rod ... he'd rather just finish out of the wild card and stay home in October ?retarded
