haha, shit. i wish there was some sound with that

that took him 5 seconds after the car went over the curb (presumably making a good bit of noise at the same time) to look back the first time, then a full 15 seconds more to realize his car was gone! ha

It would have been funnier if no one had told him and he had to turn around and be like WTf?

aha does he look around, not see his car and keep pumping?

and throwing the pump on the ground was a nice touch

a shame he wasn't smoking

He seems all indignant when those people are like, "hey, did your car just go in the pond?"

I guess not hearing it go over the curb is excusable if there was loud music being played over the PA.

But noticing your car isn't there and nonchalantly continuing to pump gas...

Those damned parking breaks.

I had my car roll down someone's inclined drive way and out into their culdesac. When I left their house and my car was missing. . . Fortunately, my car didn't hit anything, but boy

This is why, when you get out of your car...

(automatic)
1: Put car in park.
2: Pull the parking brake.

(manual)
1: Stick it in gear -- I usually leave it in 1st.
2: Pull the parking brake.

This kind of thing is easy to avoid...

what does putting just it into park do? And what's the difference with pulling the hand brake?

^ park is actually a mechanical piece that prohibites drivetrain motion

parking brake is mechanical brake component that uses the brakes to hold the vehicle in place (...or stop the wheels in event that a rear wheel skid is necessary )
