the symbian software is the heat.if you like customizing your phone, it's very flexible.the jog wheel is fantastic.i'm a huge fan of candybar style phones.

Don't Hate. Its been a good phone. The m600i will be a huge upgrade. What's the deal with European phones? As long as you have cingular or T-mobile, do you just pop in your SIM card and presto, text messages, internet, everything works?

I think Cingular uses GSM, so it should work fine. But you won’t have 3g or EDGE access. Just install your sim card and the voice and sms text should work fine. You're going to need to program the MMS and WAP settings for picture messaging and internet to work though (if your plan supports it).

well, it only has 1900 band for US, which in most places will be just fine, but some markets are 850 only (like cincinatti).. Cingular MAY have network config maps, so you can see what markets are 850 only, and if you travel frequently to those you may want to reconsider..it'll work fine around here though

could you link me to a map of the US that shows the frequency that Cingular uses. It tried to Google, but to no avail.
