clinton was pushing for regime change, he didn't just march in like a fucking idiot
10/23/2007 9:32:27 PM
Forget it, I don't have the patience to do another Bush vs. Clinton thread.I fold.[Edited on October 23, 2007 at 9:45 PM. Reason : .]

Clinton oversaw the war in Kosovo, it's true. And that conflict didn't degrade our international standing, had a minimum of U.S. casualties, and was wrapped up within the time of his administration, instead of being left as a legacy for another president to clean up.
10/23/2007 10:01:27 PM
Wait, wait, wait. Bill Clinton said something?!?!?! It must be true!
10/23/2007 10:07:04 PM
wow, you guys are making me dizzy.
10/23/2007 11:14:56 PM
yeah, Clinton said critical things about Saddam, and developed foreign policy regarding Iraq's regional issues seems like we didnt exist in a vacuum during the 1990's after all.wow. who knew?

^ If marching in like a fucking idiot and not doing anything about it are the only two options, Clinton made the correct decision.
10/23/2007 11:54:24 PM
Perhaps Clinton was just following Cheney's advice.
10/23/2007 11:56:13 PM
^^ Yeah, this is better.
10/23/2007 11:58:10 PM
^Remind me again what the reasoning for going into Iraq was? The official reason at the time it happened, that is.
10/24/2007 12:03:53 AM
^ I'll let Al Gore "remind" you. http://youtube.com/watch?v=9JE48XHKG64

^ That was 10 and a half years before the invasion of Iraq you asshat.P.S. I like how you purposely avoided the question. Very Republicanesque.[Edited on October 24, 2007 at 12:36 AM. Reason : PS]
10/24/2007 12:34:49 AM
^ Yes, the video had the time and date on it--you have a firm grasp of the obvious. And I'm not a Republican, dumbass.BTW, maybe Bill Clinton from 1998 will convince you.

several hundred billions of dollars of our tax dollars and the tax dollars of our children, and their children, and their children, and how many WMDs did we remove from Iraq?what was your point again?

I like how he refused to bold the one part that didn't agree with him. I'll do it for him...

I think we are due for a regime' change domestically

I'm absolutely sure they claimed that Iraq had tried to buy uranium from Nigeria and that's what the whole Valerie Plame thing was about. That was a lie.[Edited on October 25, 2007 at 3:01 AM. Reason : .]

How is it that no other countries felt the need to invade Iraq including other countries in the middle east that would be most directly effected by an aggressive Saddam. Usually your enemies enemy is your friend; yet Iran did not seem to thrill about the US liberating Iraq (their natural enemy) from next door.
