I need to dye my hair red for Halloween, and all I can find for hair color is that icky spray stuff. I want something a little more realistic looking.

I want to know if there's another good hair color that won't last longer than about a week. Any suggestions?

I don't know what your natural hair color is, but you can purchase a "temporary" color rinse from Sally's... which will wash out after one shampoo...Old lady's use it so they won't damage or have to pay for their hair to be colored...

red streaks- kool aid

boil the water and it'll be bolder and stay in a little longer. don't use sugar though.

The Kool-Aid doesn't wash out easily...and the fading process is horrible.

I tried the koolaid thing in middle school. It didn't come out too great, I think my hair is too dark.


I guess I should hit up Sally's and get some temporary color.

i used to have a couple of red streaks in the front of my hair when I was in the 8th grade.


i also wrote on my backpack with white out....


...and I also had a notebook with notes in it about cute boys that circulated with my friends in 7th grade.


...I also had a chain wallet- just because I thought I could be a gangster. It said "bad mother fucker" on it. .....but I wound up just looking like a white girl from north raleigh.

go to any party supply store that has costumes (Party City here in Atlanta)

anyone worth its salt will have spray in hair color for a couple of bucks....washes out in one shampoo...i know because I've done green hair for st patty's day a few times

A word of warning: reds tend to be one of the most difficult to remove from your hair. Fortunately, if you're a brunette, touches of red look pretty good. . .if you're a blonde, it can really stand out unattractively.
