...that are interested in wildlife, biology, conservation, and Africa.

My sister-in-law's dream has FINALLY come true, and her first program that she's worked so hard to get set up is available through Broadreach here in Raleigh, NC for high school students to participate in during the summer. Hopefully it will take off and she'll be able to contribute more of her programs, and eventually have these available for college aged kids (and help them earn some credit along the way).

Here's the link...it sounds fabulous! Spread the word around to anyone you think may be interested.

"Who makes my flight arrangements?
Planning your flight arrangements for a Broadreach or Academic Treks program is easy! Our travel agent, Beeline Travel, coordinates the travel plans for all of our participants. Beeline Travel handles our special group fares and helps us plan smooth and coordinated travel days. They have negotiated discounts of up to 10% on fares to our Caribbean programs and domestic connections to group flights. Often they can arrange for your teenager to travel with other participants. Most importantly, having all of our participants go through one travel agency helps us stay informed of all schedule changes and problems. "

I work at Beeline Travel. Broadreach really is a great program!

I'll announce this to my Animal Science classes. I know I have many students who'd be interested in a program like this. The tuition is high but not bad for 22 days. Some of my students families could afford it,

This is something I would have done in High School.

bttt for views.

my s-i-l was curious as well--how many of you that are in college right now would be interested in a trip like this? this is what she's really trying to do, but BR just does high school so if she knew how many would be interested it would help her case to try and move in to the college realm. THANKS!!!!!

do they need any chaperones?

when we plan big trips (FFA went to Hawaii last year) we covered the cost of chaperones into the price students paid for the trip.

I'm in grad school part time but would be very interested in a trip like this in perhaps 2 years or so.
