anyways, Bittorrent either has to go underground (and await its death) or figure something out. The companies (MPAA, RIAA, internation versions) have caught on and are taking down these sites on a weekly basis now.

I've never even used my oink membership and still got access to leaks within hours of them showing on the pink piggy.

Shareminer and blog searches will do the same thing. But, now that oink's gone, I realize it's going to affect me and methods just as much as those who frequented the site.

it's always hilarious to see how many people think the most current p2p shutdown is the end-all. You realize this bullshit is so far down on the piracy hierarchy it's only a matter of time before some other shmuck starts up something similar? Same went for Operations "Site Down" or "Fastlink". Sure...things might cool down for a bit while some kids get the ruler. But things always eventually start back up under new names, with new sites, and tightened security.

Its suprising more sites dont get hit like this and that the MPAA/RIAA dont go after more individuals. If the they weren't so incompetent they'd mass scrape every torrent site out there and send emails off to every single isp.

They could completely automate the process and I'm pretty sure most ISP's wont hesitate to sell your bandwidth hogging ass down the river.

If you did something really bad on your neighbor's connection and the feds got involved, they'd definitely hit up your neighbor first and they'd probably get grilled. Then they'd check their comps and figure out it probably wasn't them.

Then they'll start talking to others in range of the signal which would be you.

Find your posts online about stealing your neighbor's internet to do bad things.

And then come knocking.
