ok, so i know this was touched upon in the schedule thread, but this pisses me off everytime i think about itcan someone please explain to me why our men's bball team is going to greenville?did the state legislature get bored again or something?whats next, are we going to start traveling to asheville? charlotte? wilmington?we are playing presbyterian this year, maybe we should do a home and home!seriously though, can someone give one good reason why an acc program would travel to a non-factor team in a non-factor conference w/ stadium smaller than reynolds and cameron indoor?

the smaller teams would like home games too sometimes

from my understanding it has nothing to do w/ the state leg and everything to do w/ lee fowler being mediocre at his job.
10/22/2007 11:43:58 PM
We also play NC Central...Our OOC schedule this year is the weakest I can remember.
10/22/2007 11:44:47 PM
minges...the best high school basketball arena in the state

god i hate lee fowler[Edited on October 22, 2007 at 11:48 PM. Reason : i mean, i guess at middle tenn st, a game at ecu is a huge deal, so maybe that is what he was thinki]

We should roll up in the bitch in force and rule on their fans. The only thing that would stop me is I wouldn't want people thinking we were there because we were their rivals or something.
10/22/2007 11:47:37 PM
roll up to every away game in masses
10/22/2007 11:48:27 PM
I want to go to the game. What's the date and how much are tickets? I am too lazy right now to look. BUT I am sure a bunch of us will roll up go to the game and have fun there that night. GO PACK!
10/22/2007 11:56:05 PM
Apparently our fans will get a large amount of tickets to this game (i know not large to us, but it will result in like 30% of the place in red iirc).
10/23/2007 12:04:09 AM
if funds provide, i'm planning on going to tons of away games this year. travelled plenty for football, but not for basketball. i can finally say i'm excited enough about it where it would be well worth it.
10/23/2007 12:43:56 AM
i'll be there
10/23/2007 12:45:07 AM
i was thinking about making the trip. depends on how much tickets are i guess, which i haven't seen any figures for.

Away games will have red. I will see how many I can make. As for the tailgating if that lot is open next to the wendys and gas station that they randomly closed for football but don't for hockey then we always get up there at 5PM for a 7PM game. Beers in hand. GO PACK!

at the ECU football game they brought their men's and women's bball team out on the field to recognize them, and the applause was mediocre at best. Then the announcer explained that you could buy men & women's season tickets for $200 total. i LoLed
10/23/2007 2:06:55 AM
we should play Campbell when they get that new building buildmainly cause I could walk to that game
10/23/2007 8:21:54 AM
the game is a saturday night in greenville at 7oclock. sounds like a good time ready to happen people...
10/24/2007 1:14:50 AM
there will be more state fans there than ecu fans...you can count on it
10/24/2007 1:36:02 AM
im trying my best to think of it like a road game at Memphis or some other confUSA school but it isnt helping
10/24/2007 7:10:37 AM
10/24/2007 7:15:11 AM
whatever it takes then I guess. I will find out about ticket prices and post back on here.
10/25/2007 1:42:18 AM
ha. ECU basketball will be lucky to get more wins than the football team. they are awful.they got rid of Stokes, so maybe they can do something.state wins by 40+
