one car got rear-ended and I think a pedestrian got hit - there was a black man covered in blood laying on the pavement beside the cars in the wreck.

I saw a dude being tended to on my way back from lunch at Mission Valley. I didn't walk close enough to see what, if any, injuries he had. I did see a fucked up bike and a gold card with a person sized smashed spot on their windshield. The guy got hit in the very middle of the road. I have no idea why he was riding his bike down the middle of a busy road.

gold chevy malibu with a person shaped dent in the passenger side of the windshield. what appears to have been a black BMX bike was laying in the street broken in two pieces at the fork. fairly large blood stain on the pavement. saw one dude taking pics. 4 cop cars.

or people need to learn to go the speed limit, or 5 over, hit the gas when the light is green, get in the right lane before the last possible second, quit letting people turn into/out of driveways.

i saw that guy earlier today.

half hour later or so i was passing it again and his bike handle and front wheel were separated from the rest of the bike. car windshield was real messed up from his head and a ton of blood on the ground. he was gone but im sure he is gonna die from that if he already didnt

I was walking by there and wondered what happened, I saw like 4 cop cars out there and they had drawn around some things, I though I saw some red but from my vantage I didn't think there was a huge amount of blood but I was too late to really know what happened

I really don't need to say much more than that, but I'll go ahead and mention that I don't give a shit if you endanger your life, but when you speed or ride my ass, especially on the highway, the chances of me dying increase exponentially.

so where do they belong? mine's not a motorcycle, so i'm not trying to piss off people driving cars. i try to go around people on the grass when i can, but when there's like 4 people in a row who just don't move, or one person right in the middle... it's annoying.

^^^^ alright, when i notice people listening to music or whatever it's one thing. when i'm right up behind you, off to one side, like my bike tire is in your peripheral vision.. that's when i'm like okwtf. and of course i don't go around running people over on my bike, i go around them when i can. i'm just saying that it'd be nice if people watched where they were going. i walk off to one side when i'm on sidewalks, so if someone happens to be riding a bike they can go around me. people just tend to be oblivious to everything around them. plz to calm down?

around 3 there were still like 3 cop cars there and cops walking around, but I think they had washed away all the blood because one side of the road was really wet all over. I thought some kind of truck had spilled some shit all over the road at that point because that's all that was still around there.

I was one of the people who stopped to assist. He was in bad shape for a while and it was very scary. We were lucky the ambulance got there as fast as it did. He was definitely crossing in a precarious place, and was not wearing a helmet, but I would guess he has crossed at that place many times before. A helmet would have made a huge difference in his injuries. The guy who hit him stayed the entire time and spoke with the police. Though I believe he was going a bit fast through an area close to an intersection, he broke no laws and could have hardly avoided the situation. The last time I checked the biker was in stable condition at Wake Med. This is not an incident to joke about. It turned my day upside down. For those who took time out of their day to stay and help, you may have saved his life.
