Any suggestions? Park and ride and pay a few bucks for the bus, try and find a spot there, etc?

just park in the stadium lot somewhere. It's never taken me more than a few minutes of driving around to find a spot.

the best way in for me has always been to come down blue ridge from lake boone trail direction and turn right onto Westchase.

The carter-finley stadium lot is always the best.

though for me I have a parking pass so I can park inside the gates and not have to buy tickets to get in or for the people who are riding along

I have had success going to Carter-Finley lot. Don't pay ten dollars to park though, there are free spots that just require a little longer of a walk.

i always just pay one of the rednecks who live near the fairgrounds to let me park in their yard.
