I'm thinking about going to carowinds tomorrow (sunday). We'll spend the whole day there and then do Scarowinds at night.

My question is... will Carowinds be extra-busy during the day? I've never been this late in the season, and I've never been while they were doing Scarowinds.

I've been a dozen times, so the only thing that really entices me is that borg ride, which I haven't tried yet.

having season passes every year from the age of9 to 17.... carowinds is way played out. its not fun anymore. Scarowinds is anything but scary.

although, it is fun sight seeing. There are a ton of different people who go to carowinds. From rednecks to gangster blacks, carowinds doesnt discriminate

Hehe yeah... I've been many times. People watching is fun. The main reason I would go is because a bunch of my friends are going. Scarowinds doesn't really tempt me, since it's near impossible to scare me. I'd like to go on the borg. However, the last time I went on a roller coaster was at cedar point, so that might even be disappointing.

They don't have Scarowinds Sunday night.

I doubt it will be busy that day.

So it is. Another thing to keep in mind if they are still doing it like they have in the past is that you have to pay separate admission for Scarowinds, meaning you would have to pay twice on Sunday.

I don't think I'm gonna go. Tickets are about $40 online for general admission, then another $30 or 40 for scarowinds. From what I've heard about scarowinds, and the fact that it'll be busy, I just don't think it's worth it.

With the NC State fair going on? I bet the Carowinds crowd will be reduced by at least two or three people this weekend.

busch gardens were not too bad at all last sunday. 30 min wait for the big rides max, smaller ones were in 15-20 min range. and you dont have to pay extra for all the night activities like you do at scarowinds

We're hitting up Busch Gardens this weekend, but I'm anticipating crazy mad crowds.
