Maybe I'm misreading this or maybe I don't know what "included" means. Can someone explain?

you pay rent only; no water, cable or electric bill

unless they have a maximum on water/electric they will include, then you pay however much you went over their max

parking sucks ass at gorman street village, too.

^no, the policy is still that water is in the rent and you pay for everything else. as far as i know, the website has always said that utilities are included in the rent, but they never have been.

I've heard that if your usage is extreme (past X amount), they'll charge you for the difference.

maybe that's just some complexes though.

no doubt. it's terrible. and they keep sending us letters saying that they are finally going to start towing, except everyday I go outside there is someone in the fire zone, two non handicapped people in the handicapped spots, and people utilizing parts of the parking lot that aren't spaces at all.

any chance we could fight this, since the website is obviously misleading?

they are ALWAYS towing someone when i go up there.

i doubt it, since they tell you when you talk to them before leasing anything.

if they didn't tell you at all, though, maybe.

Are you retarded?? How do you NOT know what that means??

I mean, I live at Ivy Chase, and everything is "included" in your rent, and I had no questions as to what this means. It means that you don't have to pay for SHIT, but your rent.

Gorman Street Village incorporates Electricity, water and cable into the rent:

Electricity: Progress Engery services this area. This is included in your rent and will be turned on when you move in.
Water: The cost of water has already been included in the base utility package. You do not need to make any arrangements for water service.
Gas:
Phone: Bell South services this area.
Cable: Time Warner Cable services this area. They offer many packages including digital cable, and will be able to provide more details.
Internet: Time Warner Business Class services your complex. The Internet will already be connected in your bedroom when you arrive. Plug your computer into the wall jack and your ready to surf the internet. All technical support questions should be directed to 877-772-9892, identify yourself as #1398121-01."

Looks like water and electricity should be included. cable it says is, but then they say you need to contact twc...so you should be able to fight at least water and electricity easily enough.
