Funny story. We had four bags we planned to check at the airport, 2 bags per person with no charge. Well on a splurge we bought this hammock and it didn't fit into any of our bags. We were like ok we will check it as a fifth bag and pay the fee. Well we get there and they want to charge $100 dollars to check a $10 dollar hammock. Fuck that. So quick thinking we grab the one bag that could be used as a carry on. Later on we realize that it has all of our shower items in it. In Costa Rica the liquids stay as long as they're in a ziploc bag. We lose about five items there. Then in America all liquids are taken, that's fine we just want to get on the damn plane. We learned our lesson. What doesn't make any fucking sense to me is they left our two razors AND a swiss army knife we had in that bag but took all liquids over 3 ounces.Good job people!!

Our razors weren't in a cartridge, just tossed around in the bag. The swiss army knife was in a box labeled with all sharp items listed on the damn box, everyone looked at it but set it aside.Like I said our bag switch was at last minute, meaning we took the bag back from the lady and handed her the hammock. We were so concerned with getting everything squared away that we didn't think to move our shower items to other luggage beforehand.Oh well lesson learned, I just think it's wonderful the liquids were so distracting that the razors and knife were overlooked. That's a problem.
