10/17/2007 8:23:29 AM
i just realized homegirl never released my pin; i had to "confirm her comments" first--what a bunch of crap
10/17/2007 8:24:17 AM
I register with the DR group, not that it matters. I could register a month from now and my classes will still be half empty.
10/17/2007 8:26:54 AM
If I'd just gone to my adviser earlier I could've registered as soon as I got the PIN number.Used the diabeetus to get priority registration so I can make time to go to my regular doctors appointments easily, so the daily schedule isn't that different from one day to the next (I.E. none of those 8am classes that ruin everything), and just because. I mean, shit, I loved it when I was a freshman and got to take all the classes I wanted to, haha.[/abuse]
10/17/2007 8:27:06 AM
what is the DR group?
10/17/2007 8:28:01 AM
^ PhD students. They're the first to register.
10/17/2007 8:37:01 AM

10/17/2007 8:43:15 AM

10/17/2007 8:43:58 AM

^^ thanks scholars program lets you register early for your freshman - 1st level senior hours, but not the ~118+ hours [Edited on October 17, 2007 at 9:27 AM. Reason : .]
10/17/2007 9:25:46 AM
yea i think its PhD, Athletes/Special Needs, Scholars/Seniors, etcactually i think the scholars program would've been pretty cool to check out like my freshman year, honors seminars are pretty interesting though. scholars is more based on social interaction where honors is taking harder classes[Edited on October 17, 2007 at 9:27 AM. Reason : li]
10/17/2007 9:26:31 AM
^we have to take honors/grad courses (15 hours) and do 3 semesters of seminar, and thats it.i heard the honors program makes you do a research project/paper, that's why I did scholars.
10/17/2007 9:29:02 AM
No, athletes go way before other people. When Dan was on the baseball team, he was put under athletes on his registration. He got his PIN like a week and a half before mine, so like a whole week before seniors did. However, he didn't know it for a while and figured out that he was still in the system like that even till now.
10/17/2007 9:30:05 AM
so what do all the codes in the first group mean?DR, DV, GR, MR, PR, 05DR = doctoralDV = vet studentsMR = master's (?)PR = professional (?) (whats that, mba?)GR = graduate (?)and I get to register tomorrow. yay for transferring in with 138 credits.
10/17/2007 9:35:47 AM
i was in scholars, but then i stopped going to the events.but i guess they didn't get the memo, b/c i still get to register early as well as being bombarded by emails from them.
10/17/2007 9:36:23 AM
Yeah, athletes do get to register super early.
10/17/2007 9:38:00 AM
That's probably my plan, unless I'm feeling particularly masochistic and decide to do the capstone project. Even with the early registration I've always ended up with unfriendly schedules since a lot of my courses had required Friday classes or I had to sign up for something at 8am (CHE ftl). Last semester I was at State was probably my best so far, 8am on MWF with 11:20 on TH.
10/17/2007 9:43:07 AM
I receive voicemails from the future all the time...SPOOOOOOKY(mostly because my mobile phone plan is based out of NC and I am living in a Central Time Zone)
10/17/2007 10:44:43 AM
^^or I'm not here to cheat the system. are you that fucking stupid to think I didn't realize that you could abuse that program?
