I went there with my family when I was 12 or so. There's actually some really cool art stuff down there, and some funny shit goes down by the coast at night. Little shows like speedbump the pig and random people doing random stuff. Oh, and 75% of vehicles down there have gay pride stickers on them.

Freaking amazing weather down there too, and watching the heat lightning from the balcony at the place we were staying was really really awesome. It's just really nice there. It's also really damn small, but it's nice!

Watch out for your cornhole goes w/o saying. :E

ok, not next month

we leave the 9th of february to go to Ft Lauderdale, put the boat in the water there, then we fish the Bahamas for the next 3 days (the SKA is ahving their first event there)

then we come back, load the boat up, and head down to Key West for the next 10 days


Donzi has already rented us a Condo, 50 feet from the water, and apparently 100 yards from the party street down there, plus we have a huge jacuzzi and swimming pool


Donzi is trying hard to keep us with them next year

I did a similar trip, albeit unsponsored, fished over from the West Palm Beach area to the Bahamas for a couple days, fished the way back, and then drank my way down to miami/islemorada/key west in the back of a pickup

sounds like a fun week, I think ours will be kinda nice too

when I buy my boat I'm probably gonna get the 23' instead of the 26' like I was gonna get... the under 23' class pays really well (and is separate class from the overall) so you can still win it all... or win your class

B.O.s makes a reaaaaally good hamburger.

B.O's FishWagon was awesome, its on Caroline Street.

And for the a Fried Conch Sandwich, hit up the Rusty Anchor. Its a little Shady buts its fresh as hell because they are also like a processor. You will have to look up where it is.

I need to take another trip there. My friend has a place on Sunset Key, its sweet.

There is a stand that sells Conch fritters right outside of the aquarium and they were damn good.
