I need to take a class for my last tech. elective and I'm trying to decide between MSE 200 and MSE 201. The teachers available that fit my schedule are:200:El-MasryZhu201:YinglingI actually no idea what to expect from these classes (like what type of calculations you do, concepts, ect.) beyond what is listed in the course description. If anyone could give me suggestions as to the teacher or details as to what to expect I would appreciate it. Thanks.

MSE 201/200 is very easyI'd ask your advisor their opinion, because I was required to take 201 for my CHE-Nano major when I wanted to take 200.As far as what to expect, in 201 it was memorize physics-like formulas and graphs.[Edited on October 16, 2007 at 11:18 AM. Reason : not that bad]

Townsend told me her daughter took it MSE 200 and it was only 4 tests, no homework and you can drop your lowest test. Anyone know if this is still the case?

that depends entirely on the professor. i took it over the summer and had tests and random quizzes. [Edited on October 18, 2007 at 12:36 PM. Reason : (*#@%]

I'm currently taking MSE 200 with Jag. We have 4 tests and around 6 pop quizzes. One test and two quizzes get dropped.

Does anyone have an opinion between Y ZHU and N EL-MASRY for MSE 200?
