10/12/2007 2:29:25 PM
clockwise from the bottomcounter-clockwise from the top
10/12/2007 2:30:48 PM
how dare you make me doubt my perception
10/12/2007 2:32:30 PM
she got some nice tits
10/12/2007 2:33:36 PM
COUNTER CLOCKWISEall who disagree are wrong
10/12/2007 2:36:10 PM
well... my answer is obviously right
10/12/2007 2:37:13 PM
both, it changes every minute or so...
10/12/2007 2:37:39 PM
no it doesn't
10/12/2007 2:38:22 PM
i'm gonna go with "to her right". the CW/CCW argument is weak because it depends on your perspective.
10/12/2007 2:38:28 PM
which is why my answer is right
10/12/2007 2:38:54 PM
yes it does
10/12/2007 2:39:02 PM
10/12/2007 2:39:15 PM
i'm glad i'm getting these varied answersi was wondering if the thing was bogus
10/12/2007 2:39:24 PM
sigh, ill even time it for you[Edited on October 12, 2007 at 2:44 PM. Reason : n/m its random]
10/12/2007 2:40:19 PM
it would be better if it showed the complete shadow
10/12/2007 2:40:58 PM
thats a good one. if you stare at the outer leg it doesn't change, but if you move your eyes towards the waist your eyes sometimes change the rotation perspective.or something like that.btw, i opened this in image ready and it appears that it DOES NOT CHANGE. it is ~30 frames that last 0.03 seconds and repeats forever. so its not bogus, its just eye trickery![Edited on October 12, 2007 at 2:44 PM. Reason : btw.]
10/12/2007 2:42:05 PM
I don't get it....it's clockwise....how are you seeing anything else?
10/12/2007 2:43:16 PM
^yeah all i saw was clockwise...which is why i posted it in here...to see if anyone saw it otherwise...and it appears they dohttp://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,22556281-661,00.htmlthis is the supposed explanation, don't click on it til you decide which way she's spinnin[Edited on October 12, 2007 at 2:45 PM. Reason : +]
10/12/2007 2:44:22 PM
Alright, I think I understand now. This may be what terpball meant earlier.Scroll the page so that the image is centered vertically on your screen. If you look at the top of your screen and then pan your eyes down to the image, it turns clockwise. If you look at the bottom of your screen and then pan your eyes up, it turns counter-clockwise.
10/12/2007 2:48:08 PM
BUY A FUCKING AD, marko
10/12/2007 2:48:10 PM
I'm at a loss....I don't see how you could see it anti-clockwise...I mean I really want to but I can't... and are they saying that 'most of us' would see it anti-clockwise? Really?
10/12/2007 2:48:14 PM
i seen it go both ways. freaks me out kinda
10/12/2007 2:50:38 PM
i can def. see it both ways, but i was certain it was counterclockwise at first
10/12/2007 2:51:29 PM
I wish I could see it anti-clockwise...I just can't. This makes me sad
10/12/2007 2:52:05 PM
I'M GLAD I CAN'T SEE IT COUNTER CLOCKWISE
10/12/2007 2:52:35 PM
I was right
10/12/2007 2:53:25 PM
i think it's easiest to "switch directions" by watching the foot shadow... i do that and can trick my mind either way
10/12/2007 2:53:36 PM
I don'[t understand this shit. I can see it both ways, dont know how the hell its working.
10/12/2007 2:53:45 PM
I thought I saw it changing directions too...
10/12/2007 2:54:50 PM
either way, depending on how you look at it.clock wise, counter clock-wise..... spinning to the right i dont get how people dont see it spinning both ways.
10/12/2007 2:55:06 PM
It usually appears to be rotating clockwise to me, but when I look away and look back after a bit it appears to be counter clockwise for a short time before switching back. weird.
10/12/2007 2:55:14 PM
Oh fuck. I opened it again in ImageReady to see which way it actually turns and I can see it both ways even when stepping through it frame by frame. Its much harder to switch when it's slower, but now I'm really freaked out.I'm going to go jump off a tall building now.
10/12/2007 2:55:36 PM
honestlyall i'm seeing is boobie here
10/12/2007 2:56:30 PM
10/12/2007 2:59:16 PM
yeah, I can see it both ways
10/12/2007 2:59:46 PM
reminds me of thiswhich way is crow facing? (far right)[Edited on October 12, 2007 at 3:00 PM. Reason : Ø]
10/12/2007 3:00:24 PM
10/12/2007 3:00:26 PM
im only seeing clockwise
10/12/2007 3:00:28 PM
that's because it IS spinning both waysclockwise from the bottomcounter-clockwise from the top
10/12/2007 3:00:41 PM
clockwise. you ccw observing people are buffoons
10/12/2007 3:04:18 PM
10/12/2007 3:05:10 PM
10/12/2007 3:11:27 PM
no, when i see it clockwise, both the top and bottom appear to be spinning clockwise, and when i see it counterclockwise, i see both the top and the bottom spinning together again.the image itself is not designed to be spinning in either direction, it is moving left and right over a 2D plane.I can actively and easily make it switch directions regardless of where on the image i am lookingand to Chris (nothing22): Crow is facing to the left, as they are watching the movie that is on the screen opposite of the viewers vantage point. (thsi assumes crow watches the movies)[Edited on October 12, 2007 at 3:13 PM. Reason : crow]
10/12/2007 3:12:12 PM
I've found a way that works very well for me to see it spin in either direction.Cover almost the entire image with your hand; enough so that all you see is her lower leg as it swings out to the far left. This way you're not distracted by everything else. Now, if you want to see her spin clockwise, first convince yourself that the leg (when you see it) is moving away from you. Once you've done that, remove your hand.If you want to see her spin counter clockwise, convince yourself that the bit of leg you see is coming toward you, then remove your hand.
10/12/2007 3:14:01 PM
^^well, i'm only a mortal and you're a tall tale character and not easily fooled by inferior design but seriously, we know he's watching the movie. the problem is you can reverse his black image and have to where he's looking away from the screen[Edited on October 12, 2007 at 3:21 PM. Reason : homo-phone! Ø]
10/12/2007 3:20:57 PM
clockwise, the only direction.
10/12/2007 3:21:32 PM
10/12/2007 3:21:54 PM
Thanks Cabbage, that helped. now I can see it both ways, thats fuckin trippy
10/12/2007 3:22:12 PM
the easiest way to make it change direction is to move your mouse....put your cursor on the image, move it clockwise to see the image go clockwise etc..
