with a scalpelwhile butterflying steak (yes, i know... but a scalpel is hella sharp and intended to cut meat.. plus they're cheap, as in free)since this morning, it's clotted and whatnot, but the tissue flap is definitely dead... how funi guess it's more of an avulsion than a true laceration.. but oh well.went by the ems station and grabbed some 2x2s and some gauze to keep it wrapped + some benzoi thought you all would like to hear of my latest medical anomaly

10/3/2007 12:46:06 AM

what does iodine do to cuts?
10/3/2007 12:48:11 AM
no salt (in the champagne room)will take pictures tomorrow, i'm about to go to bedand iodine hurts like balls but sterilizes it... not really something you'd use in this situations, it's usually used for surgery prep.. and even then, they use betadine.i ran it under water and h2o2 before putting the benzo on, thats more than enough... once it's clotted, that's it
10/3/2007 12:50:41 AM
hmm, iodine never hurt me, it just felt really cold.
