Looking ahead to the spring semester, I'm posting the seminar list I got in an email from UHP. These classes have always been pretty entertaining and thought provoking, even if they do make you work a little bit. Curious as to what anyone else is hoping to sign up for.

the next few days; 0600-0800 T; Dr. Larry A. Nielsen, Provost of NC
State."

I'll probably attempt Time Travel again since its a very popular course, so it must be pretty good right?!?! . If I can't make that, I'll probably try for 'The Music of Language' to get the Visual Arts humanity credit out of the way, or maybe take a class with the music school instead and go for 'American Ideals in a Global Perspective' and get the social science credit out, sounds like an interesting class too. If those fall through then "Issues in Aquatic Ecology" and "Winter Wolf Discovery adventure" appear to be cool travel courses...depending on what the wolf course is.

If you're looking for a course to take and need to get your religion credit I highly suggest "Religion & Conflict", Dr. Bigelow is fantastic as a professor and she keeps the class light hearted with her, uh, witty remarks. She's also very approachable during office hours and has a few interesting stories of her travels to the middle east. The class also is great for giving insight to what is happening with the war now and why it is occurring.

wow, they've added some pretty interesting courses since I was in the UHP. I took the Time Travel course years ago and highly recommend it.

-gag- I hated the Time Travel course. Yeah, sure, it was great in the beginning, and then it just went BAM! PHILOSOPHY. It took my best effort not to fall asleep on the poor professor. It just killed my interest.

Winter Wolf thing sounds interesting...I didn't take a Honors Seminar this semester and had a waiver for another semester (I didn't apply again for this semester), think they'll still let me enroll?

Wow, those classes are so much better than the seminars that they offered to the first group of us to go through UHP.

Most of these sound like complete bullshit.
