when are you supposed to order your cap and gown? From where?
10/1/2007 10:25:10 AM
iirc, you can order them at the bookstoreI don't remember when you do it
10/1/2007 10:28:41 AM
Yeah, from the bookstore.I'm 99% sure the grad. materials I got from the college of management gave me instructions. Ask the folks in the office when you go to pick up those "request for graduation" forms.

Don't waste your time and money for graduation day.....!
10/1/2007 8:55:31 PM
^Don't listen to that shit...go to your graduation Bookstore and I think I got mine just a couple of weeks before the actual date....I think they hold them for a while. You can ask someone in your dept office or at the bookstore

I still have my cap and gown and sash, but i'm just sentimental like that... also, when you graduate summa cum laude, its something to commemorate; not like you deadbeats
10/1/2007 11:20:11 PM
I just don't think it is anything great....I mean hundreds of thousands of students graduate around the world every year...what's so special about it...unless you have a PhD or something of that sort...I didn't go for both my degrees...I don't miss anything w.r.t graduation stuff...what I miss is my actual college life...

The general graduation ceremony is crap. You can't hear a god damned thing sitting on the floor of the RBC Center. However, the departmental ceremonies are usually worth going to.
10/2/2007 1:05:37 AM
i had a crop of those people being obnoxious behind me during my graduation.the college of management ceremony was a little more bearable.
10/2/2007 7:55:10 AM

funny enough, most people understand graduation ceremonies to be meant primarily for the family, in particular the parents who bankrolled your deadbeat ass through 4 years of drunken revelry
10/6/2007 6:50:52 PM
My parents didn't go to theirs and they didn't care about me not going to mine.
