I'm going ahead and getting this baby started, cause we all know it's gonna happen. Peter Angelos is going to choke on a dick during the offseason, opening the door to a rational, intelligent owner. From there, it will be nothing but blue skies and pennants. WHO'S WITH ME?

^Benson is gone... and good riddance. We need to trade either Tejada or Mora.ANDCabrera.Our rotation should be fine next year with Bedard and Guth at the top and Loewen coming back, Mazzone is high on him.We need a big bat in the middle of the order though... there are some mild rumblings about Jason Bay.The bullpen is an absolute mess right now. You have two quality guys with Walker and Bradford, but they logged a lot of innings this year, and really taxed their arms. It's hard to justify spending more money on the bullpen after this past off-season. I say you package Cabrera for a bona-fide closer, or hell bring in a Japanese veteran... it seems to work out well. They are experienced and no one has seen their stuff before. If you were watching the Ravens game you may not have heard that Tejada had a meeting with Andy McPhail and told him he would not move to third base. Andy McPhail said " Then I'll have to do what's best for the team."[Edited on October 1, 2007 at 3:53 AM. Reason : ]

If you were the twins and knowing you couldn't resign Santana would you take Cabrera and a top-tier prospect (Reimold, Olson?) for Santana? What about Miggy and a top-tier prospect?Just throwing it out there.[Edited on October 1, 2007 at 9:04 AM. Reason : ]
