which other tech forums do you participate in? there's never enough discussion on tww to fulfill my tech cravings. blogs are great, but discussion is less than ideal b/c it's harder to build community around those a lot of times since user identity is not always consistent (or even trackable) across sites, nor can you ever see a person's post history

i'm on experts exchange, but haven't posted much since starting this CCIE thing.I use my full name there.

After reading this thread, I googled my name to see if any of my experts exchange posts would show up, and they don't.But apparently, I did a piece on Spanning Tree Best Practices for Network World:http://www.networkworld.com/community/node/19152I don't know whether to feel good about this or disturbed -- considering I had no contact with Network World whatsoever, and certainly did not contribute towards this article.

9/28/2007 1:10:49 PM
^^ Yeah, I sent the guy an email so we'll see. ^ yep, but he's not quite done with med school yet, he's got another year left.

Ah, I went to high school with him.. Was pretty sure with that last name you guys had to be related. I thought he was done, but I guess he's still doing his residency or whatever the last stage is..

^cool, you probably know Derek Saunders too, right? He rotated through my team at work this summer.----Mystery solved, The guy who submitted it wrote back, and it was taken from a Q&A Event I did a few months ago. And he put me in contact with the Network World editor, so I may be contributing directly on an ongoing basis, depending on what all is involved (apparently copying and pasting from other sources is ok )]]
