injuries are part of the gameit sucks when it happens, but shit happens[Edited on September 24, 2007 at 3:34 PM. Reason : c]
9/24/2007 3:34:03 PM
yeah, in fact, there are probably a LOT of schools that have a lot more important injuries than that
9/24/2007 3:35:18 PM
if there was going to be a year where we were taken out by injuries then it's not so bad that it's this one...it's a rebuilding year anyway, everybody knows that...
9/24/2007 3:37:33 PM
9/24/2007 3:39:27 PM
ok, so it sucks that we lost our two best offensive players. but seriously, quit yer bitchin'.it could be a blessing in disguise seeing how this season is going.
9/24/2007 3:41:38 PM
With regard to the football injuries, if everyone was healthy, would it have made a difference? Maybe in the UCF game, but we still would have got smoked by BC, still would have got punched in the face by Clempson, and would still be looking at a horrible season. It doesn't matter. The basketball injuries worry me because we have a chance to actually be good this year. Not so much with football.
9/24/2007 3:44:37 PM
Don't forget freshman Johnny Thomas is out for the year in basketball as well.

no, he's out the whole season. Javi G. who actually has more potential in my opinion in a spot we need (PG) is out 10-12 weeks. Multiple peeps here.
9/24/2007 4:18:10 PM
That's some nc state shit. And the injury report for javi only says 10-12 weeks from now.

we still have a chance at the NC for sure.

10/1/2007 12:51:46 PM
so with Tedder out, I wonder how many snaps are going to go over the punter's head this saturday. on the brightside, he'll probably have a lot of practice by the end of the game.
10/1/2007 12:54:35 PM
a walk on is now the long snapperits in the other thread but I will put it here as wellFSU GAME Notable Changes:- Daniel Evans to start at quarterback. 10/1/2007 12:56:15 PM
fuck it, i'll step upfjjackso for QB!
10/1/2007 12:56:29 PM
it comes from all the racism
10/1/2007 1:08:05 PM
i'd like to see Russell Wilson at QB, but i'm not a coach
10/1/2007 1:16:05 PM
10/1/2007 1:46:19 PM
as much as we all hate the current QB situation, burning wilson's redshirt on what amounts to a thrown away season would be retarded.

Hello Andre, We are extremely glad to have you grace us with your presence.Sincerely,The Injury Report
10/6/2007 6:35:51 PM
Inuries or not, NCSU would still have the same record. This is hardly worthy of a thread.

11/5/2007 4:55:39 PM
imagine what this season would have been like if we were healthy
11/5/2007 4:58:12 PM
probably pretty close to the same.
11/5/2007 5:58:39 PM
you don't think brown and baker would help our rush offense at all?
11/5/2007 6:47:26 PM
11/5/2007 6:50:02 PM
^^It was more the OL taking a while to develop. Until the OL got squared away I wouldn't have seen us winning many more games. Brown and Baker can only do so much if there are no holes.
11/5/2007 7:00:33 PM
I can't imagine Ant Hill being consider in those OL discussions either
11/5/2007 7:13:53 PM
bttt. no one is safe. not even our recruits.

this thread sucks
11/18/2007 10:28:30 PM
Any news on the severity of those two injuries? I'm particularly concerned about Manning's injury b/c he's big time. I know he has been replaced in the shrine bowl per WRAL. I really want next year to get off on a better foot and I don't want us to have to back off or pull scholarship offers from guys who are talented? Y'all think that could realistically happen?
12/2/2007 1:03:24 AM
aha, gg Chance and pttyndal
12/2/2007 1:05:41 AM
^^we aren't pulling his scholly unless his career is over. he will red shirt next season and hopefully be back to 100% and ready to go as a RS frosh in 2 years.
12/2/2007 11:38:28 AM
bttt for Degandout for the season with an ACL tearsomeone needs to fire our strength and conditioning coaches, all these knee problems
12/24/2007 4:01:39 PM
Bball players in general have shitty knees. Compare them to soccer players, who rarely have knee troubles.
12/26/2007 10:22:23 PM
If you saw the play he torqued the fuck out of his knee. If you play at fullspeed and make wreckless plants your knee is going to give. That was just a bad play all around.A true point guard pulls up and makes the pass.A true scorer goes at the rim.Splitting the middle isn't good basketball and leads to injury.
12/26/2007 10:28:19 PM
How quickly will the alumni and "fans" turn on Sidney Lowe?
12/26/2007 10:38:30 PM
I've been a pack fan for several decades now and all I can say is that NCSU's curse extends far beyond just injuries.
12/26/2007 10:51:34 PM
12/26/2007 10:55:55 PM
I'm just saying to play the "bad luck" card here doesn't apply. He didn't go to the rim as a scorer. He went as someone waiting to draw a foul.He accidentally buckled his own knee. It's terrible luck, but its just something that happens sometimes. You either have to go toward the rim, or back away. If you go halfway bad things can happen.
