They intentionally made last weeks test too hard AND too long(teacher admitted it in class today)!!!! Why would they do that????

swtich majors, what do you think CE is?
9/28/2007 3:04:45 PM
i'm not CE, so i wont have to deal with it much after that class.
9/28/2007 4:16:52 PM
lol is this statics?its easy, everything is at rest
9/28/2007 4:22:36 PM
it really sucks when you arent in CE but you have to take statics AND solid mechanics
9/28/2007 10:15:33 PM
you mean like MAE?HARRRRRRR!
9/29/2007 12:34:07 AM
statics is easy, everything sums to 0 class dismissed

Civil is the most crowded engineering discipline, that's the only reason I could think of as to why they would do it in Statics.I have NO clue, however, as to why we would have a 4 question test in Hydraulics, with the 3rd one so fuxking weird that 1 person out of 120 (2 classes) got it right (Prof told us this). There's no reason for that, or the god awful grade distributions for that course. It's obviously the department. Both of my ChE transport courses were harder than 382 and they never pulled this shit. I am still very irritated

be thankful you didn't take it as a 5 week course during summer...2 tests, one being a midterm where after about a ~16 point curve the average for the class was in the low to mid 40's

With weed out classes like that, its not that the test is too hard or long, its because the class is too dumb and too slow.Get used to it, if you are CE the tests only get longer and harder.
