So my dads daily driver finally gave out on him after almost 300K miles (dodge stealth) and I'm trying to talk him into just buying something else with a lot less miles as opposed to putting more money into that car than it's worth. I doubt he'll spend much over $5K.. I've found a few accord's that are pretty decent in that price range but any other good ideas? Mileage doesn't really matter but how many more miles he'll get out of it does... I'm thinking some kind of honda or toyota at around 100K miles should be sufficient for a few years. Oh, and no niggered up shit. What do you guys suggest?

How many miles can you expect a late 90's accord to last, assuming good maintenance practices?

Either get a late 90s camry or a civic/integra. The most reliable accords IMO are the early 90s ones.
