My husband and I picked up a ferret less than a year ago because he had spent several months alone in a cage in a pet store unsold because he was no longer a baby. We have really enjoyed the little guy, who is about as perfect as ferrets come. He is litter box trained, playful when awake (but sleeps 18+ hours a day), has never bitten, and gets along with other animals. He is approximately 1 year old, neutered, and descented. We are interested in finding him a new home because the baby that we are expecting in January will have some unexpected problems that will be time consuming to say the least. We feel that the demands of a special needs child will be such that we should minimize our other responsibilities. The ferret is the least attached to us and the most likely to be neglected out of our mini-menagerie. The baby is not due until January, so we are not in a hurry to rehome him. We really love the little guy and want to make sure that he goes to a good home. We will be rehoming him along with his cage, toys, and all other supplies at a small fee ($50 or so). So if you are interested in this little guy and would like more information, please let me know.Isaac in his cage.Isaac running across the floor.

As long as we felt that it was appropriate, he'd be getting good care, play, and attention.
