This thread will be used for me and other manly men on here to ask all the chickas on here, questions....I suppose there are plenty of manly men who may know the answer, and feel free to...but basically what I'm saying here is that I'm a manly man so I'm not SUPPOSED to know the answers to these questions. K...First question: Isn't it weird to bleed from the crotch every month?
9/19/2007 2:03:58 AM
I don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.
9/19/2007 2:04:50 AM
It is very weird....but I'd rather stick a tampon up there than a hanger
9/19/2007 2:06:18 AM
2nd question: how long until StillFuchsia posts in here ranting and raving about the grave injustice of this thread?
9/19/2007 2:06:39 AM
I mean thats gotta be a bitch for puberty...I mean as a guy we get nothing that dramatic..chicks...oh holy fuck i'm bleeding.
9/19/2007 2:07:08 AM
3rd question: How many posts before Diamond Ace preemptively trolls me? Oh good, he's already here.Bleeding is weird. But you get used to it, once you figure out your cycle (and/or use BC to regulate it).[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 2:08 AM. Reason : .]
9/19/2007 2:07:34 AM
yeah, especially if it happened really early, like 9 or 10 or something. AHHHH, WHAT THE HELL?
9/19/2007 2:08:00 AM
yeah, it was an unpleasant surprise. I remember the day very well. Luckily it happened before I left for school because that would have been traumatic as shit.
9/19/2007 2:08:50 AM
Carrie ftlYour parents didn't tell you that would happen?
9/19/2007 2:10:31 AM
I imagine they do, but like theduke said, it can happen early on.
9/19/2007 2:12:58 AM
Deja vu?
9/19/2007 2:14:27 AM
nah, my mom told me. I knew it was coming but still, to all of a sudden have blood coming out of your vag, well, it's a tad unpleasant. More unpleasant is the feeling of wearing pads. I didn't start wearing tampons til a few years later and when I finally managed to get it in there the right way, I realized that the tampon was the single most important invention ever.
9/19/2007 2:16:32 AM
Gee, I'm sorry girls

^^ Please explain to me the nuances of the plastic applicator versus the cardboard applicator.[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 2:19 AM. Reason : .]
9/19/2007 2:19:17 AM
I was 11. I couldn't even use tampons then. While it's weird to bleed onto a pad, it's weirder to try and stick a piece of rough cotton up there. I couldn't use tampons for years.[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 2:21 AM. Reason : .]

^ Too tight (hymen issues) or lacking proper knowledge or both?
9/19/2007 2:21:36 AM
Yeah, I think I had a perforated hymen or a very small annular hymen: it really really fucking hurt to try and put anything in there.
9/19/2007 2:27:52 AM
well SF, I was almost 13 (12 3/4) and I didn't manage to get a tampon in there until I was 15. I tried and tried but it hurt like a bitch. However, and here's a fun story...my parents went out of town one night and so they had agreed to let me stay at home 'by myself' with a couple girl friends...well I happened to have my period so I decided that this was the day I was going to finally be able to wear a tampon. Well the only ones in the house were my mom's and she used ob's. For those of you who don't already know, ob's are about the width of your pinky finger (maybe a ring finger) and about 1 1/4 inches long. There's no applicator so basically you have to finger yourself to get it up there... but I thought that since it was so small, I'd actually be able to get it up there without too much pain. Well sure enough I did, and for 4 glorious hours I forgot all about the blood and lived life like normal. Then, because I was terrified of tss (toxic shock syndrome) and because the package says not to wear a tampon for longer than 4-6 hours, or maybe it's 8 hours, I can't remember...anyway, I left my friends downstairs and went upstairs to change my tampon. There's a string, so I pulled it and nothing happened. I thought maybe the string had seperated from the tampon so I yanked it and what followed was a pain I'd never felt before. Like my insides were trying to seperate from my body. I must have literally been in the bathroom for a good 25 minutes. My friend's came up to see if I was OK... I was in there...in pain, tears rolling down my face because I thought that it was stuck, and that the hours to avoid tss were ticking down and I was gonna have to go to the ER..... Well, after a half hour or so and my heart about to explode out of my chest, I finally got it out...and then I realized why it hurt so bad. The motherfucker goes in the width of pinky finger, but it comes out the width of a cucumber (I'm probably exaggerating but for a non-ripped hymen it felt like it)... I mean I guess I should have known but I was so excited to finally get one in there, that I just ignored logic. In any case, needless to say, I never tried an ob again, and in fact I never even tried to get a tampax in there until I was probably almost 17. And it took a lot of practice...As for plastic v cardboard, I actually prefer cardboard because even though it's a tad more painful to get in, I once had one of the little plastic teeth like things on the plastic one, was bent backwards and that hurt like a mother fucker...so I think now I have a fear
9/19/2007 3:39:52 AM
That was more disturbing to me than the my date with Karl Malone story. It was either the lack of humor..... or the copious amount of vagina trauma. [Edited on September 19, 2007 at 4:15 AM. Reason : .]

I remember when I started my period I was at the beach with my best friend and my parents. My mom went out shopping, so I was left alone with my 12 yo (I was 13) best friend and my dad. I locked myself in the bathroom of the condo and screamed at my dad, he wandered over to the door and asked what was wrong, I told him I needed mom NOW, and he asked why, I said I couldn't say, and this dialogue went on for about 2 hours until my mom finally came home on her own. My dad can be such a douche. Needless to say this ruined the beach trip. And I can't use the cardboards...they feel like you're trying to shove a rough pvc pipe up there.
9/19/2007 10:24:32 AM
Why does everyone hate on OB? I can't use anything else anymore.
9/19/2007 10:28:01 AM

I heard of the Diva Cup this summer, and I'm thinking of trying one out. They're reusable so I don't have to feel bad about generating so much trash

It took like five tries to get the tampon thing down. I didn't realize I had to shove it in deep enough to where I couldn't feel it. Funny thing is I tried doing it without directions so I thought the applicator, and uh other cardboard thing were jsut part of the packaging and too it all off. I'd shove that bitch in there then waddle around cause I coul feel it and it was not a great sensation. Finally I broke out the instructions with the little colored pictures and have been a firm believer ever since. I was 11 at the time.PADS FOR THE LOSE.My sister jsut started hers and I'm constantly telling her the sooner she switches to tampons the better her life will be! It's a scary thought at first though!

ha as long as you don't use tampons that balloon up thicker than a penis you should be alright.
9/19/2007 10:55:52 AM
what's the deal with the usually poor or flawed self-image thing?
9/19/2007 11:12:04 AM
I blame the media. Everyone has these high expectations for women to look flawless. Boys growing up learn to accept those looks as norm and trash those who don't meet those expectations. Women have a lot of pressure put on them and when they just can't meet that standard they gain self doubt and self hatred. Some women beat that though, fuck the media! I'm gorgeous!
9/19/2007 11:15:32 AM
I don't have a problem with stretch marks.
9/19/2007 11:31:01 AM
how did this thread get hijacked and become about tampons and shit. please can we bring it back to something worthy of asking women about like, why do you get made when i just want to have sex with another woman. its you i care about<3
9/19/2007 12:21:34 PM
Does your menstration really attract bears?
9/19/2007 12:38:29 PM
A lot of times in girl-on-girl porn I see them do this thing where they pat the clitoral hood of the vagina lightly and flatly with their hands. Does do anything for girls? It just looks weird and pointless to me.
9/19/2007 1:07:13 PM
It's fantastic, try it on your lady next time. But it's not enough to drive her to an orgasm. Best results are lifting the hood and working underneath it (GENTLY).

haha well from personal experience, I have daddy issues so my self values sucked and it reflecte on how I looked. I got made fun of by the good looking folks and it went downhill form there.I never really listened to what the media thought was beautiful so yeah.I'm cool now though so don't worry!!

how often do you actually hear negative remarks? only online and gossip (which we all know guys are the center of ) have I ever seen or heard such remarks directed and made known to the intended target.
9/19/2007 2:33:59 PM
9/19/2007 2:58:32 PM
^^ You really don't really hear negative remarks intended seriously in college (mostly because people have better control over what they'll say to someone's face), but they're pretty common in middle/high school. The earlier ones probably shape more of your idea about yourself than anything said more recently, anyway. But yeah, gossip is probably one of the biggest vehicles of these remarks. While women do circulate these statements more, they sometimes aren't responsible for the first negative remark, so don't just let men off the hook preemptively here.[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 3:10 PM.
