I once heard that you can drop individual bad grades if you have a really good excuse. I know you can drop semesters with bad grades in them.... But, is it true that you can actually pick and chose which grades to drop?

Back when I was a freshman (2000), something like a freshman repeat existed. It allowed you as a freshman to drop the original class grade and take the same class over again for the second and hopefully higher grade. I retook a math class under this policy. If you're not a freshman, you can always retake a class, but the original grade isn't dropped. I took one another class twice, but I had to keep that original grade.

All the Noobs please shut up because you are wrong. Yes you can get individual classes dropped from a semester its easier if they are from current or last semester. Its not hard at all I helped alot of my friends get their certain classes dropped.

^^ well from the question, its not about dropping classes, its like saying, oh hey I made all As in all of my classes except that 1, so I've got a get out of the bad grade card, let me use it and drop my grade! I've dropped classes before after the deadline, but I went through hell to do it, and not because of their grade in it either.
