Know where I cam find one. I had an application on my Apple Computer that did this, but its gone now. It traces IP addresses and how they route. It gets it down to the carrier and city / state, etc.

this is more complex. it gives a GUI route map across several network clouds. its more detailed than a tracert.

Not at all what you're asking for, but other ppl in the thread should give mtr a shot in lieu of regular traceroute, if you haven't already.
