i think the rules here, written and unwritten, are mostly fair and consistent.

its simple to me. first, read the written rules. they're pretty clear. the 'unwritten' rules basically come down to two things:

(1) no goatse or tubgirl, anywhere, at any time.
-- this is for historical reasons, that is obvious to anyone who has been on the INTERNET for more than a few years.

(2) other than that, in "Chit Chat", ANYTHING GOES, as long as you follow a few rules:
a) if your gonna post something nasty in your thead, put NSFW in title
b) otherwise anything else is fair game in existing threads, UNLESS you are trying to be a jackass by obviously spamming and/or *purposely* trying to piss off the mods.

If you cant handle that, and/or are worried about your internet cache/history stored on your work servers... then you shouldnt be surfing CHIT CHAT (or even TWW in general) at your fucking workplace!
