This is a professional grade high speed solid ink printer. It'll spit full 8x11 photographs literally as fast as you can pull them out of the output tray (3 sec or less each at full resolution), and does so with incredible quality. It uses "colorstix" compressed ink, which is a solid block of ink about the size of a normal print cartridge. Easy to handle, easy to load, and inexpensive . . . . a color block which yields more than a thousand pages is only about $20, less for non-OEM.The printer currently has enough ink for several thousand pages or so, and 99% of its maintenance kit remaining. All colors have at least two blocks of solid ink remaining.Specifications:Page count: 7,183 (All but brand new!)Maintenence Kit: 99% Remaining24 PPM Print Speed (8x11 color glossy in 3 seconds flat!)Full Duplex operationFirst Page Out: 6 seconds256MB Ram (Max upgrade)600 Sheet Paper Capacity, 525 sheet tray plus manual feed10/100 BaseTX Ethernet, built in Web Server and Admin tools/remote printingCan connects via parallel, ethernet, or USBSmall, compact and light for this type of printer! Typical power consumption on it is only 120W . . . . . it'll draw more in brief bursts on occasion, but that's typical for any laser printer.
