I lived at the lodge at crossroads which is connected with the Park at Crossroads(and owned by the same people). They finally opened the clubhouse/indoor/outdoor pool this past spring. The area is great, no major problems there. The lodge and the park are practically the same complex (the lodge is a little older). Same floor plans etc. I really liked it when I lived there.

I've lived at The Park for a little over a year now and I've been happy with everything so far. It was nice to finally have the clubhouse open back in the Spring. What little maintenance work we've needed was always prompt.

My husband and I lived there for two years prior to buying our own house. Anything negative that I could find to say relates to our first months there because we were some of their first tenants and they were still pulling things together. It's a nice quiet complex in a great location that seems to have more young professionals and families than college students, probably because it leans towards being a bit pricey. We would still be there if it didn't make more sense for us to buy once we found out that our rent was going up to ~$1200/mo when we renewed.

The other thing I should have mentioned in my earlier message is that just like every other apartment I've been in, you'll probably hear the neighbors upstairs. We hear them stomping around a lot. Our previous neighbors upstairs several months ago were much quieter though. We also hear water running down the pipes in the walls when people upstairs flush the toilets. Not a big deal, and you'll get used to it, but it's something to be aware of. I don't ever hear the people beside us though. Seems the walls between apartments are pretty well insulated.

Ditto. Sometimes we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around, but it was fairly quiet. In fact, we had several medium sized parrots who could be loud at times and we never once heard a single complaint from anyone. I am not sure if they offer a 6 month lease, but I'm sure that the rental rate is higher for a 6 month than a 12 or 18 month. I do know that we had no problem going month to month while we were waiting to close on our house.
