naaaahalot of the games have remained the samepitchers still pitch alot the same, golf is still a competition individually not team reliant, football you have the invention of the spread offense and such.

im saying the art of pitching has not changed over the years.There hasnt really been any changes like there has been in other sportsso comparing new and old is actually not that hard in some of the sports such as baseball, track and field, wrestling/boxing, even basketball.
