I don't like the fish at fish pro's because I think they're overpriced, and most importantly, they don't look that healthy.

You said you don't like Fish Pros, but in case you feel like going there, there's a buy one fish, get one fish free coupon in that Dollar Saver magazine thing they have around campus. It has a maximum value, though - not sure how much.

I've never had any problems with fish from fish pros

I've had a few that died a day or so after bringing them home, but the staff there are really nice, and give you store credit or let you trade a dead one for another one if you bring it in with a water sample. I have no fish to offer, but I do recommend fish pros.

Freshwater? If so, I have some fish that really need a new home:Rafael Catfish, Md (also you can have his piece of driftwood)3 healthy black neon tetras3 glass catfish1 glowlight tetra1 cardinal tetra and a pair of blue neons2 serpae and 2 black skirt tetras that need to be away from my peacock eel1 harrassed red-eyed tetraAlgae eaters:1 pleco, small2 otto's1 golden snailSemi-aggressive (need to stay away from the others^):striped peacock eel (likes to eat snails....)buenos aires tetra (mean to the red-eyed tetra)I really want my fish to have a good home. I'm moving on to saltwater tanks and can't have 2 separate tanks in my apartment. The Rafael is the oldest of the lot, and I raised him from a little baby. If you want them, they live peacefully enough now (except for the BA and PE who have been picking on the others lately)[Edited on September 10, 2007 at 3:46 AM. Reason : sp]

^I have to break down my saltwater tank...need anything?

^Actually, yeahI've never done a SW tank before, but I know that I want a sump-pump fitering system using my 10-gal extra tank, I need lights and a protein skimmer, and I need the pumps to keep that water moving. Live rock and advice would be great.
