I ordered my computer (Mac Pro) and 3rd party ram on tax free weekend and didn't realize that it only takes FB-DIMM's and not SDRAM :-( but by the time the computer got here and i realized that i had the wrong ram it was to late to get a refund.

I opened one of each type to see if the pin configs were the same. Other than that they are complete new and unused.
